Vantage Telecardiology (VTC) saves over 90% of unnecessary referrals in South Manchester PCT

Greater Manchester Cardiac Network reveals VTC saves some 200 unnecessary secondary care/diagnostic test referrals for South Manchester PCT!

According to data collected by the Network in conjunction with local GP practices has demonstrated that over 90% of unnecessary referrals to secondary care have been avoided through the use of VTC. Philip Sanders, Managing Director for Vantage Diagnostics commented, ‘The solution has ensured that hundreds of patients can be treated within primary care in South Manchester without the need to visit hospital. Such findings from this report from the Network are extremely encouraging.’
